Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing team: recruit, train, supervise, mentor, evaluate and recognise achievements
• Ensure safety and compliance: maintain building, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, life safety systems; coordinate inspections
• Manage daily maintenance operations: oversee tasks, prioritise work, verify completion via CMMS, address service requests and emergencies
• Support property improvement projects: assist in capital projects, budgeting, contractor bidding, licensing and permitting
• Lead energy efficiency initiatives: develop and oversee energy conservation programs to reduce utility costs
• Drive engineering performance: monitor KPIs, equipment upkeep, audit results, team productivity and implement improvements
• Support hotel‑wide operational leadership: collaborate on evacuation procedures, duty manager coverage, safety protocols
