As a Senior Leader in our Brisbane Highways team, you drive growth across SEQ by leveraging your network and client relationships with TMR and local authorities. You will lead complex highways projects, champion technical excellence, and foster collaboration across planners, designers and specialists. Your role shapes strategy within the ANZ Transport Leadership Team and contributes to the broader growth of AECOM’s highways business. You will mentor a multidisciplinary team and deliver high-impact road and corridor infrastructure that moves communities safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Drive growth across the SEQ Highways market and strengthen client relationships with TMR, local government and infrastructure clients
- Lead delivery of major road, corridor and transport infrastructure projects with high-quality, technically robust outcomes
- Champion best practice in highways design and delivery, supporting innovation in digital engineering and integrated design
- Foster multidisciplinary collaboration across planners, designers and technical specialists to deliver integrated project outcomes
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team, enabling succession planning and an inclusive culture
- Contribute to broader strategic direction of ANZ transport and growth of the highways business
Key requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 15+ years’ experience in highways or major road infrastructure projects
- Strong technical background in highways engineering and design delivery
- Well-connected within the SE Queensland highways market with established client relationships
- Proven experience working with TMR and/or local government clients
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a consulting or professional services environment
- Strong client engagement and business development capability
