Regional Manager

Overview

In this hands-on regional leadership role, you oversee core operations to ensure timely, quality project delivery and strong financial stewardship. You align day-to-day execution with strategic goals, leading multi-disciplinary teams across installations, sales, and admin in a fast-paced environment. You will drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and cost-effective performance while shaping processes and tools for scalable growth. This role offers impact through cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement in a renewable energy context.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across sales, installation, and administrative functions
• Oversee scheduling, logistics, and workflow planning for installation teams to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery
• Maintain quality assurance and ensure regulatory and policy compliance
• Lead and develop technicians, office staff, and subcontractors
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance check-ins, and formal reviews
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training to strengthen capability
• Monitor cash flow and oversee operating budgets
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and approve expenditures
• Implement cost-control initiatives to improve profitability and efficiency
• Act as escalation point for complex customer issues
• Ensure high customer experience through clear communication and reliable delivery
• Collaborate with sales to provide operational insight and support
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and overall performance
• Develop and optimize systems, tools, and processes to boost productivity and service delivery
• Contribute to forecasting, goal setting, and strategic decision-making

Key requirements

• Strong organisational and planning abilities
• Experience in solar or renewable energy preferred
• Valid driver’s license for site visits and travel
• Technical proficiency with project management platforms, CRM systems, and cloud-based tools
