As an HR Business Partner in our Dundee site, you will align HR strategy with business goals across multiple client groups in a manufacturing setting. You’ll drive people strategies that boost engagement, performance, talent development, and compliance, partnering with leaders to shape organisational effectiveness. You’ll manage the full employee lifecycle and support change initiatives, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities
- Build relationships with managers across departments and provide expert HR guidance aligned to business goals
- Recommend and implement HR interventions to support strategy and organisational effectiveness
- Share data and insights to inform decision-making
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding
- Support workforce planning, talent management reviews, and succession planning
- Ensure a positive employee experience throughout the lifecycle
- Handle complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and policies
- Coach line managers on people topics and partner with Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, and other HR functions
- Identify training needs and support development initiatives with L&D and Talent teams
- Promote internal mobility and career development opportunities
- Lead or contribute to UK and regional HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare and analyse data to support business cases and organisational changes
- Analyse HR metrics and ensure compliance with GDPR and health & safety standards
Key requirements
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- CIPD Level 5 qualification
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
- HR acumen across talent, performance, organisational design, development, employee relations, and compensation
