Overview

In this role you join Sartorius’ Quality Team in Stonehouse to ensure onsite products meet required criteria through in-process inspections, release checks, and thorough documentation according to GDP and ISO standards. You will work closely with Quality and Production to address issues, record non-conformances, and support a compliant cleanroom environment. You’ll contribute to a global life science company focused on translating scientific discovery into real-world medicine. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with a clear impact on product quality and patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily visual inspections of assemblies and sub-assemblies in the cleanroom according to specifications
  • Routinely verify plastic parts, components, machines and processes against specifications
  • Communicate issues to the QC Supervisor and the team
  • Collaborate with Quality and Production teams; share inspection outcomes and findings
  • Address daily quality issues, inform relevant departments of failures
  • Record non-conformances and take corrective actions
  • Adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and GDP requirements and ensure documentation compliance
  • Work both as part of a team and independently

Key requirements

  • Experience in quality control in manufacturing or production, ideally in pharmaceutical or medical industries with ISO standards; other industries considered
  • Cleanroom experience and related standards desired but not essential
  • Reading engineering drawings ideal but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
