Business Analyst – Fund Operations

Overview

In this role you will translate client needs into concrete product requirements and collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are understood, mapped to design and test cases, and delivered with quality. You will engage with stakeholders across the fund operations space, helping shape feature enhancements for an asset management product suite. The position sits at the intersection of business and technology, contributing to the product roadmap and ensuring robust specification and testing. You’ll work in a London-based, team-oriented environment with a long-standing, client-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead key stakeholders and capture client-driven business requirements for new features and enhancements
• Document high-quality, industry-aligned business requirements for product functionality
• Contribute to creation of a data dictionary and data model with client and internal dev teams
• Input to the product roadmap
• Ensure requirements are specified, developed, and tested correctly and mapped to test cases

Key requirements

• Background in Back office Financial Operations or experience in a Fund or Asset Manager
• Client facing experience
• Experience translating business needs for functional and technical requirements
• Experience with data modelling and data mapping
• Degree level education in economics, information technology or computer science or equivalent experience
• Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills
• Interest in financial markets
• Strong academic background
