Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview

In this role you will deliver expert analytics, reporting and BI support to external partner organisations within the CSI team. You will translate information needs into data products, dashboards and insights, driving data quality, governance and secure data handling. You’ll lead complex datasets, reporting solutions and data pipelines while engaging with multiple stakeholders across organisations. This is a chance to shape analytics in healthcare partnerships and contribute to reliable NHS returns and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach junior Information Analysts
• Manage internal and external client relationships and escalate issues as needed
• Develop complex datasets, reporting solutions, and data pipelines
• Ensure data quality, governance and information security in all outputs
• Lead on NHS returns and reports submissions
• Build dashboards and reports using SQL and Power BI
• Oversee automation and data lifecycle understanding
• Support horizon scanning for new technologies and business cases

Key requirements

• SQL: min 18 months data transformation and report development
• Power BI or equivalent data analysis across multiple datasets (18+ months)
• RPA/ADF: experience with Azure Data Factory or UIPath
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and contracts
• Degree-level education or equivalent experience
• Proactive communication, time management and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of cyber security and information governance
