Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies aligned with Logistics and business goals.
  • Lead strategic sourcing, negotiations, supplier selection, tenders, and value-creation activities.
  • Manage key supplier relationships, driving performance and continuous improvement.
  • Analyse spend, market trends, and supplier capabilities to inform decisions.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to shape demand and identify value opportunities.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the Logistics category.
  • Monitor market trends and emerging supplier capabilities to refine strategy.
  • Support the Procurement transformation agenda and embed best practices.

Key requirements

  • Procurement experience in a medium or large organisation.
  • Exposure to Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, Fleet, Warehousing or related spend.
  • Strong sourcing, supplier management, and negotiation in indirect spend.
  • Proven ability to influence and build stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen, market awareness and analytical skills.
  • Track record of delivering measurable procurement value.
