Manager, Card Business Development & Operations

Overview

In this role you drive the expansion of card products and wallet integrations across multiple markets, partnering with Product, Compliance and external vendors to deliver scalable card programs. You’ll own end-to-end launches, manage issuer and wallet relationships, and optimize operations for faster time-to-market. You enable growth by negotiating terms, coordinating digital wallet integrations, and improving processes with data-driven insights. This is a fast-paced, cross-functional role in a mission-driven, global fintech environment that values autonomy and impact.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute card business strategy for virtual, physical cards and wallet products across markets
• Lead end-to-end card program launches with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Manage relationships with issuers, processors, BIN sponsors, card manufacturers and wallet partners
• Coordinate digital wallet integrations (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.)
• Oversee physical card operations including vendor onboarding, production, fulfillment and logistics
• Negotiate commercial agreements and pricing with partners to achieve competitive terms
• Develop scalable SOPs and operational processes to improve launch efficiency and user experience
• Monitor performance and drive improvements through data analysis

Key requirements

• 5+ years in cards, payments or fintech
• Proven experience launching/operating card programs (virtual/physical)
• Experience leading 0-to-1 card program launches with cross-functional coordination
• Familiarity with card ecosystem and industry standards
• Experience with digital wallet, card manufacturers, issuers, BIN sponsors or processors
• Bonus: prior experience with Visa, Mastercard, fintech issuers or crypto payment companies
