Civil Engineering – Expressions of Interest

Overview

In this role you will apply your civil engineering background to drainage or SuDS projects within Stantec’s UK water team. You will help convert concepts into deliverable designs, collaborating across disciplines to meet quality, time, and budget goals. You’ll work on infrastructure that improves water quality, reduces flood risk, and supports resilient communities, with clear opportunities to grow across a diverse project portfolio. Responsibilities

• Take projects from feasibility through to detailed design
• Support or lead other engineers across disciplines
• Ensure delivery of quality work on time and within budget
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to translate client vision into deliverable designs
• Contribute to the development of robust drainage or SuDS solutions for water infrastructure projects

Key requirements

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent); ideally Chartered or working towards it
• Solid experience in drainage or SuDS design
• Ability to manage projects from feasibility to detailed design
• Comfort working across disciplines and taking leadership when needed
• Proven track record delivering quality work on time and within budget
