Overview
In this role you will lead digital marketing for Phillips 66 UK brands, shaping social content, campaigns and omnichannel communications. You will manage website content and CRM support, driving audience growth and measurable digital performance. You will collaborate across brands and functions to ensure consistency and timely responses, including crisis management. This position offers the opportunity to influence brand visibility and digital effectiveness at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic social media plan across Phillips UK, JET and Aviation brands on all platforms
- Manage social media agency budget, briefs, and delivery; oversee spend and timelines
- Align with Corporate Communications and UK brands for messaging coherence
- Oversee organic, paid and listening activities; maintain content calendars
- Lead social media crisis management with key internal communicators
- Identify timely content opportunities and craft assets for brand communities
- Research trends and best practices to inform proposals and audits
- Coordinate with internal clients and brand teams to deliver on objectives through social media
- Grow audience and engagement while maintaining a unified brand voice
- Leverage demographic insights to target key audiences across brands
- Monitor and manage brand reputation through community management and timely issue resolution
- Collaborate with UK Marketing leadership and Corporate Communications on crisis handling
- Monitor, analyze and report social media and website performance using analytics
- Prepare data-driven action plans to improve engagement and traffic
- Manage Phillips 66 UK website governance and KPIs; ensure alignment with Brand Marketing
- Oversee JET website content in partnership with B2B & Retail Brand Marketing Specialists
- Direct the Website agency to meet agreed objectives (e.g., SEO improvements)
- Support management of the UK Marketing CRM tool with IT and stakeholders
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in social media and digital communications, ideally in a corporate environment
- Experience working with creative agencies and developing media plans
- Strong track record of growing B2C and B2B social media presence
- Knowledge of Sprout Social or similar social media management platforms
- Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with digital tools and platforms
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Experience developing and reporting on marketing ROI metrics
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
