Senior Product Designer

Overview

In this role you will shape FACEIT’s digital platform experiences for players and fans, working across game contexts to improve how they connect, compete, and belong. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering from the outset, turning player insights into validated design outcomes. You’ll evolve the design system and ensure consistency at scale, delivering ideas through prototypes and usability studies. This is an opportunity to influence a core product in a vibrant esports ecosystem and help reduce friction for diverse players.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional product teams to identify UX gaps and influence direction
• Conduct player research to understand motivations, pain points, and what would keep players engaged
• Partner with product and engineering early in problem‑solving to shape direction
• Translate player behavior into design outcomes and validate through prototyping and usability testing
• Design experiences across multiple game titles and play styles, avoiding one-size-fits-all solutions
• Identify opportunities to reduce complexity and cognitive load in navigation and surfaces
• Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate ideas and decisions to stakeholders
• Contribute to and evolve the design system to ensure platform-wide consistency at scale

Key requirements

• 5+ years designing digital products with a portfolio showing complex, end-to-end platform work
• A genuine gamer who understands ranked play and team dynamics
• Systems thinker who designs journeys, not just screens
• Research-grounded with data-driven mindset
• Expert-level Figma
• Proven experience contributing to a design system
• Clear, confident communicator able to defend decisions at senior level
