Overview
In this role you will support a leading projects, development and construction practice in London, focusing on non-contentious work across major development, infrastructure, and regeneration projects. You will draft and negotiate complex construction and development agreements and advise on procurement, risk allocation, and standard form contracts, serving developers, funders, investors, and contractors. You’ll mentor junior lawyers, contribute to business development, and help drive the growth of an ambitious practice within a flexible, hybrid environment.

Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate complex construction and development agreements
- Advise on procurement strategies and risk allocation
- Manage all major standard form contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC) and bespoke project documentation
- Provide high-value advisory support on development and construction matters
- Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to team development
- Engage in business development and assist growth of the practice
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on high-profile projects
Key requirements
- Six+ years’ PQE in construction or projects within a reputable team
- Strong technical knowledge of construction/procurement law
- Collaborative, commercial mindset
- Experience in housing, education, healthcare, or sustainability sectors is valuable
