Digital Design Engineer (#OAEG2)

Overview

As a Digital Design Engineer in Edinburgh, you will help develop industry-leading digital circuits for mixed-signal SoCs used in consumer products. You will collaborate with systems, analog, and physical verification teams to deliver verified, manufacturable designs. You’ll contribute to product definition, prototype evaluation, and test development to ensure competitive ASICs that meet customer needs. Responsibilities

• Design and develop new digital circuit architectures on advanced process nodes
• Collaborate with systems, analog, physical design and verification engineers to ensure a fully specified, verified and implemented design
• Contribute to product definition, prototype evaluation, test development and product release for manufacturability and customer requirements
• Participate in project meetings and design reviews

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
• RTL digital circuit design using Verilog and SystemVerilog
• Verification of block-level digital designs
• Synthesis and timing analysis of digital circuits
• Design for testing and manufacturing
• Understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes
• Innovative, creative problem solver with attention to detail
• Strong diagnostic/analytical skills
• Strong ability to relay complex information and collaborate across diverse teams
