Principal Project / Program Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the delivery of sophisticated software and engineering projects within Arm’s Strategy & Ecosystems group. You’ll collaborate with business, product and technical teams to plan, execute and govern delivery, ensuring visibility and alignment across stakeholders. You will tackle delivery challenges, drive governance and risk management, and explore automation to improve processes. This position offers impact through cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, tracking, monitoring and reporting
• Develop realistic plans with clear delivery visibility
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, issues, and change
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve delivery challenges
• Ensure governance, audit readiness and ISO compliance
• Facilitate decisions across Engineering, Product, Business, Marketing, Legal and others
• Support long-term planning and roadmap development
• Improve project management processes and automation

Key requirements

• Experience leading sophisticated software, engineering or technology projects
• Advanced planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders
• Ability to understand technical discussions and their impact on plans and risks
• Positive, adaptable attitude in a fast-paced tech environment
• Experience with geographically distributed engineering teams
