Deputy Head of Legal Services – Medico-Legal Lead

Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking an experienced in-house lawyer to join the Legal Services Department. You will bring significant healthcare law expertise and manage people within a legal team, deputising for the Head of Legal Services as required.

You will provide professional legal advice across a wide range of matters, support clinical teams in learning from claims and inquests, and contribute to patient safety initiatives, governance processes, and staff training.
