Technical IT Bid Manager – Transport

Overview

In this role you steer end-to-end IT bid initiatives in the transport space, aligning technical inputs with bid requirements and organizational goals. You will bridge Digital & Technology product teams, bid teams, suppliers and stakeholders to craft compelling submissions. You’ll manage supplier engagement, cost modelling and pricing negotiations to win tenders. The position supports a transformation-driven organisation, offering exposure to modernisation efforts and cross-functional delivery. This role suits a delivery-focused professional who shapes bid narratives and drives successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technology inputs from Product Managers and platforms teams to build IT bid submissions
• Gather and share information for RFI and RFP responses
• Create narrative and product vision for bids and develop the submission story
• Understand the technological roadmap, projections and backlog
• Own and manage supplier relationships from a bid perspective
• Cost modelling of supplier quotes and negotiating pricing with procurement/finance support
• Advance bids through effective supplier engagement
• Serve as the bridge between Digital & Technology, bid teams, suppliers and operational stakeholders

Key requirements

• Proven experience in bidding or IT bid management within a transport setting
• Ability to liaise with multiple Product Managers
• Strong technological understanding
• Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
• Experience coordinating across multiple teams
• Ability to engage with both white-collar and blue-collar associates
