Environments and Data Strategy Practice Manager, Vice President

Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end environment and data strategy programs for State Street’s front-to-back platform. You will guide regional and functional teams on workflow and data analyses, architecture and strategy documentation, and client-facing delivery. You’ll navigate complex client relationships and manage multi-year programs across global clients, contributing to a scalable, interoperable investment lifecycle platform. This is a client-facing, strategic role that shapes how data and environments support cross-divisional business models.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end environment and data strategy programs for onboarding clients to the front-to-back platform
• Lead workflow analysis, data analysis, and requirements analysis for current and future state models and architecture
• Create and deliver strategy documents, playbooks, architecture docs, and data insights
• Manage client relationships and expectations with stakeholders at various levels
• Oversee implementation lifecycle stages across multiple global clients
• Support business development and sales through consultative client engagement
• Provide regular status updates and program management reports

Key requirements

• 15+ years of financial industry experience across front office, IBOR middle office, and back-office data domains
• Strong environment strategy and architecture design experience
• Experience with data mining, ETL platforms, and data visualization/reporting tools
• Proven program management, stakeholder management, and client engagement experience
• Technical architecture knowledge and exposure to global portfolio management, trading, and compliance functions across asset classes
• Ability to work in fast-paced, globally structured, team-based environments and independently
• Exposure to messaging protocols and cloud platforms and EDMs
• Experience integrating with industry providers/consulting partners to promote platform interoperability
