Overview

In this Finance Business Partner role within Customer Solutions, you will drive commercial insight, financial performance, and operational effectiveness across cost centres. You’ll shape senior stakeholder decision-making, ensure robust financial control, and contribute to in-year delivery and AMP planning. The role offers development toward the Senior Finance Business Partner position in a supportive, inclusive culture. You will partner with non-finance stakeholders to translate data into strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support across multiple cost centres including month-end close and cost control
• Lead budgeting for designated areas and support annual business planning with robust financial modelling
• Perform variance analysis to identify risks and opportunities and deliver actionable insights
• Prepare monthly forecasts and concise performance reports for central finance and stakeholders
• Ensure accurate cost allocation during the regulatory reporting cycle and align with accounting standards
• Create engaging, insight-led presentations with minimal supervision and influence commercial decisions
• Validate non-financial cost drivers to maintain data integrity across reporting
• Provide ad hoc analysis and modelling as required

Key requirements

• Extensive finance experience in a business partnering or analytical role
• Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders with varying finance knowledge
• Ability to identify issues and drive performance improvement through insights
• Confidence in articulating strategic recommendations to support decision-making
• Track record of building robust, credible cross-organisational relationships
• Experience contributing to continuous improvement activities
• Strong MS Office skills, SAP ECC and business intelligence tools
