Overview

As Senior Product Manager, Price, you guide the strategic direction and roadmaps for Tesco’s Pricing domain, balancing competitiveness, profitability, and transparency at scale. You will align pricing initiatives with the Commercial Product and Retail Platform strategy and partner with senior stakeholders to drive business value. The role combines cross-functional leadership with strategic thinking to shape products that impact supplier partnerships, customer value, and operational outcomes. This is a chance to lead impactful pricing transformations within a global retail platform and create measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and evolve the group product strategy and vision for Pricing domain applications
  • Define the problem space, opportunities, and priorities, ensuring alignment with wider Commercial Product and Retail Platform strategy
  • Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and plans with Product Managers and Lead Product Manager
  • Provide guidance on prioritisation, trade-offs, and sequencing of work
  • Support teams to deliver outcomes linked to business value
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Data Science, and Technology to align on priorities
  • Navigate ambiguity and drive buy-in across multiple products, teams, and markets
  • Bring clarity and alignment across products and markets
  • Coach Product Managers and peers
