Overview

In this role, you will join a high-performing Property Litigation team at a leading national firm in Exeter to handle a broad disputes portfolio. You will work directly with Partners and senior lawyers, gaining early responsibility and client exposure. The work includes landlord and tenant disputes, building safety issues, rights of way, and other property-related matters across commercial and education sectors. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied property litigation caseload with early responsibility
• Handle commercial landlord and tenant disputes for major brands
• Address Building Safety Act issues and related property concerns
• Work on rights of way, adverse possession, harassment and boundary disputes
• Oversee service charge disputes, property insolvency, and secured recoveries
• Engage in education sector property work (academy conversions, school mergers)
• Maintain direct client contact and collaborate closely with Partners and senior fee earners

Key requirements

• NQ-1 PQE with a property litigation seat or relevant contentious property experience
• Genuine interest in developing a career in property litigation
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
• Good judgement, empathy, and professionalism for handling sensitive matters
