Prison Education Lead: Reading & Numeracy

Shannon Trust is seeking a role at HMP Gartree to lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme. You will work closely with the prison, its staff, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors to maximise learning opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

The role is fixed term until 31 March 2027 with a view to renewal subject to contract. The role is prison-based, and the organisation emphasizes culture and resilience in its team.
