Overview
In this role you drive alignment of EMEA Engineering with the firm’s strategic priorities, partnering with senior leadership to accelerate organizational transformation. You will shape processes, events, and communications to engage engineers and elevate the Goldman Sachs Engineering brand. You work cross-functionally to deliver data-driven insights and measurable outcomes, influencing stakeholders across regions and divisions. Responsibilities
- Align EMEA Engineering with Engineering’s strategic priorities across cross-divisional teams
- Develop and implement location and people strategies, and optimize Engineering-specific processes
- Coordinate internal and external events and trainings to elevate the engineering brand
- Enable leadership with empathetic, skilled communication to accelerate transformation
- Create content and events to engage engineers and promote the GS Engineering identity
- Deliver strategic projects prioritized by c-suite leaders (global Engineering COO and EMEA Engineering head)
- Develop data-driven insights and dashboards to inform decisions
- Document and optimize processes to drive continuous improvement
Key requirements
- 8+ years in strategy, COO, program management, change management or operations within technology or financial services
- Proven record leading end-to-end programs with scope, planning, stakeholder alignment, execution, risk management, outcomes
- Strong analytical skills and experience building executive-ready presentations and dashboards
- Excellent written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders
- Experience designing and delivering internal/external events and trainings, with post-event measurement
- Process optimization experience and KPI definition for continuous improvement
- Highly organized with strong project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Relationship-building and client service mindset across levels, regions, and divisions
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Economics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
