Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities from enquiry to final acceptance and documentation, including site surveys and client discussions
• Direct and allocate work to Trade Operatives & Apprentices with emphasis on quality, productivity, and safety
• Ensure availability of technical information for design and construction
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules; prepare final documentation (As Built Drawings)
• Identify and resolve non-conformances in design and construction phases
• Manage system and product design to align with specifications and technical requirements
• Prepare and finalize contract documents
• Oversee Project Quality deliverables and ensure compliance with internal and client quality systems
• Contribute to tender, design, and construction programmes with progress updates and reporting
• Liaise with subcontractors, manage tenders, quotations, and H&S documentation review
• Prepare Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans for projects with Principal Contractor responsibility under CDM

Key requirements

• Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with proven project management experience
• Proven track record in Project Management with an engineering or supervisory background
• Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interpret and explain technical instructions
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to engineering trades (mechanical and electrical)
• Driven, able to work both independently and in teams under direction
• Innovative mindset with ability to learn and apply new technologies
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments
• Full UK Driving Licence
