Project Controls Manager

Overview

In this role you will drive the delivery of PMO and Project Controls services for designated projects, shaping effective frameworks and ensuring safe, compliant performance. You’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams across cost, schedule, change, risk and reporting, while strengthening client relationships and promoting sustainability. You will contribute to net-zero ambitions and collaborate across PMO, Planning and Project Controls to unlock project value.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PMO and Project Controls services across designated projects
• Shape and implement PMO frameworks and governance
• Lead teams across cost, schedule, change, risk and reporting
• Promote wellbeing, inclusion and high standards in delivery
• Provide clear technical guidance on cost, schedule, change, risk and governance
• Foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing and best practices
• Support client relationships and address risks, opportunities and actions
• Coordinate integration across PMO, Planning and Project Controls, contributing to sustainability efforts, including net-zero ambitions

Key requirements

• Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent)
• Extensive delivery-phase experience on complex property or infrastructure programmes
• Strong commercial, financial and senior stakeholder management capability
• Proven leadership of diverse teams with awareness of carbon and sustainability impacts
