Project Controls Manager

Overview

In this role you will support Gardiner & Theobald’s corporate occupier PMO by ensuring efficient document control, accurate reporting, and robust project controls across portfolio projects. You will work within the PMO team to track progress, manage design and schedule changes, and liaise with clients and project teams to uphold world-class service delivery. The position offers exposure to cost management, risk, and change along with opportunities to engage with senior stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Set project brief, schedule and procurement strategy under PMO Lead
• Track progress against briefs and report variances
• Maintain standard document structures and templates across workstreams
• Manage project documents, confidentiality, and document audits
• Produce regular project reports and facilitate stakeholder meetings
• Support training and vendor performance monitoring
• Assist in vendor selection, appointments and contract management
• Perform general administrative tasks for the PMO Lead

Key requirements

• Degree educated (e.g. BA, BSc or equivalent)
• Experience in construction industry with understanding of commercial fit-out lifecycles preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills; able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience developing and updating schedules, change logs and risk registers
• Ability to plan and structure reports and presentations
• Detail-oriented and well organized
• Ability to manage processes and build relationships in virtual environments
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Asta Powerproject, PowerBI, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex is beneficial
