Investment Banking Associate – EMEA FIG

Overview

In this UBS FIG Associate role, you will support transaction execution and client coverage across a broad set of financial institutions. You will independently build financial models and analytical tools to support valuation and strategic analysis, and prepare high-quality client materials. You will conduct research on industry trends and actively participate in deal teams, contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented culture. This position offers cross-border exposure across banks, insurance, FinTech, and asset management within the EMEA region, with a strong emphasis on learning and growth.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to transaction execution and client coverage activity
• Independently develop financial models and valuation tools

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of investment banking experience covering financial institutions
• Solid analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong financial modelling and technical skills with solid understanding of FIG sector
• Client and solutions focused, an excellent communicator
• Team player, even in challenging circumstances
