My client is looking for a Pool Product Specialist to join their busy Pools Division to help deliver further growth. They offer a range of products required to build, refurbish & maintain residential and commercial swimming pools and spa/wellness centres. Their ideal candidate will have proven internal sales or technical support experience with electrical or mechanical products.
Internal Sales Specialist role:Your role will be office based working 37 hours a week within a small and knowledgeable team.The successful Internal Sales Specialist will report to the Sales Manager and be responsible for:Handle all customer email and telephone enquiries of a technical and sales nature, promptly and effectivelyDeal with technical enquiries referred by the Sales Order Processing departmentProvide quotations where necessaryLiaise with customers and building lasting relationshipsReceive and input telephone and email orders as a result of quotations as a result of technical advice and/or quotationsAccompany Divisional Management or other colleagues on customer or supplier visits as appropriateOccasional attendance of Trade Shows and Company-led seminarsLiaise with Internal & External Sales ExecutivesPromote product initiatives and assisting in promoting designated linesMaintain product knowledge in order to influence and develop sales, as well as upselling productsProvide documentation as required by the customer such as product specificationMaintain knowledge of the in-house system to effectively deal with enquiries regarding delivery and availability
Internal Sales Specialist requirement:Previous experience of working in the Swimming Pool industry would be desirable but not essentialTechnical skills, practical thinking and a strong sales focusStrong communication skillsKnowledge of account management, or previous sales experience would be advantageousExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skillsExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailProblem solving and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft softwareAbility to function in a high-paced environment
