Overview

As Finance Business Partner to the HR & People Function, you act as a strategic finance advisor, shaping financial insight and decision support for function leaders. You will be part of Global FP&A, translating financial data into guidance that enables strategic and operational priorities. The role sits at the intersection of finance and HR, driving the end-to-end transformation of HR processes and shared services. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial acumen, accountability, and value generation, tying investments and initiatives to business outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic finance leadership to the Function’s senior leadership and contribute to decision-making with financial insight
  • Develop and present business cases for investments, transformations, and new initiatives
  • Play an activist role in change initiatives, ensuring financial integration and accuracy into operational processes
  • Navigate complexity to propose solutions, outline choices, and align finance with functional priorities
  • Partner with functional leaders to deliver tailored financial insights and support
  • Maintain alignment with stakeholders on roles, priorities and boundaries
  • Coordinate with BI&A, Intercompany, Finance digital products portfolio, Global Accounting & Controlling, Global Tax, Finance Excellence, Enterprise Architecture and regional/local finance leaders
  • Collaborate on headcount and compensation planning with HR and support vendor negotiation processes
  • Oversee budgeting, accruals, forecasting, variance analysis for the function
  • Provide regular financial reporting to functional stakeholders and ensure data integrity in close processes
  • Share best practices within Global FP&A and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage recruitment, development and career processes for direct reports

Key requirements

  • 12+ years of related finance experience (professional services background preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/economics (minimum)
  • MBA considered advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive fast decision-making
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills with experience in scalable financial models
  • Experience in consulting is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of finance strategy (resource planning, budgeting, investments)
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking capabilities
