Overview

In this role you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the AAM UK Group. You will join a collaborative finance team and handle a range of transactional activities while ensuring accuracy and strong controls. You’ll have the opportunity to identify process improvements and contribute to ongoing efficiency. This is a people-focused, operational role that interacts with multiple stakeholders and supports reliable financial reporting. You will help the team maintain robust processes that underpin excellent client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily bank reconciliations and journal postings to control company bank accounts
  • Process payments and bank transfers via Bankline ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Support accounts payable including invoice processing, creditors ledger, and supplier queries
  • Prepare corporate payments and related accounting entries
  • Manage corporate credit card and employee expense payments in line with policy
  • Administer payments to travel, reward and benefit providers and complete reconciliations
  • Maintain fixed asset register and process depreciation journals
  • Contribute to intercompany balance reconciliations within the AAM UK group

Key requirements

  • Previous experience in transactional finance activities including reconciliations, payments, accounts payable or similar processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under deadlines
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to investigate and resolve queries
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders
  • Proactive approach and willingness to identify process improvements
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
