Overview

In this role you will lead the day-to-day Accounts Payable function across multiple international entities, ensuring timely invoice processing and vendor payments. You will provide operational leadership to a two-person AP team, drive process improvements, and uphold internal controls in a multinational environment. You will collaborate with finance and procurement to support month-end close and maintain strong vendor relationships. Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and manage end-to-end AP across international entities
  • Ensure accurate, timely invoice processing per policy and delegated limits
  • Serve as primary escalation point for supplier payment issues and bottlenecks
  • Identify efficiency, standardisation, and automation opportunities in AP
  • Coordinate multi-currency payments and banking platform activities
  • Support strong control environment including segregation of duties and workflows
  • Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks in AP
  • Coordinate AP month-end close across entities
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders (finance, Global Procurement)
  • Supervise and develop a two-person AP team, assign workloads, and conduct reviews
  • Support training to strengthen technical and process knowledge
  • Occasional out-of-hours work to support accounting calendar
  • Undertake other duties as requested by line manager

Key requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience leading or supervising a finance team
  • Experience managing AP for multiple entities/countries
  • Strong understanding of financial controls and month-end processes
  • Experience operating automated AP solutions
  • Team leadership and people development skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Dynamic team player capable of contributing at all levels
