Senior Health, Safety & Fire Consultant

Overview

In this role you will deliver health, safety and fire risk management within a multidisciplinary consultancy. You’ll work across sectors to provide pragmatic, regulatory-aligned advice and hands-on risk activities, collaborating with UK and overseas colleagues. You will handle audits, risk assessments, training and client advice, with opportunities to influence how organisations address safety and sustainability. Responsibilities

• Deliver health, safety and fire risk management services in a multi-disciplinary project environment
• Execute project work including corporate and regulatory compliance auditing, report authoring, risk assessment, training delivery, ad-hoc advice, and tailored client solutions
• Collaborate with clients across broad sectors
• Support bids and development of proposals for new client work
• Support promotion of Health, Safety and Fire Services

Key requirements

• NEBOSH General Certificate
• NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety or Level 3 equivalent
• Associate Institute of Fire Safety Managers membership or equivalent
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent or working towards
• Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment Qualification (desirable)
• TechIOSH or CertIOSH membership
• Member Institute of Fire Safety Managers membership or equivalent (desirable)
• Full clean driving licence
• At least three years demonstrable fire risk assessment experience
• At least two years demonstrable health and safety experience
• Independent work style with ability to manage workload in a team
• Understanding of UK Health, Safety and Fire legislation
• Client/stakeholder facing confidence
