Quantitative Analyst

We are working with a London based trading client who is looking for a Quantitative Trading Analyst to join an expanding desk.

This is a great opportunity for somebody who is interested in working with a forward thinking systematic desk and interested in expanding into a new market.

You will apply advanced mathematical models and statistical techniques to support the trading of physical and derivative power. Working closely with traders, you will help develop strategies, optimize pricing models, and manage risks in the power markets.

Requirements

• 2-5 years working as Front Office Quant Analyst
• Previous experience utilising data to impact trading decisions
• Strong engineering skills with commercial expertise in Python
• Strong Education background – Master’s or Ph.D. in a STEM subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Finance, etc.).
• Base Salary up to £150,000
• Competitive bonus scheme up to 100%
