Experienced Financial Analyst, Financial and Valuation Advisory – London

Overview

As a Financial Analyst in our London-based Financial and Valuation Advisory team, you support engagements across valuation, M&A, and transaction structures. You build complex models, analyze financial statements, and assess market trends to inform client advice. You collaborate with cross-functional teams on client materials and due diligence. You contribute to marketing efforts and help identify risks and value drivers that shape negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex financial models and analyze financial statements, industry developments, acquisitions/divestitures, and investment attributes of public/private companies
• Support active engagements and participate in marketing efforts
• Prepare client materials and conduct market, industry, and company analyses
• Review target company financial information to identify historical/projected trends, quality of earnings, working capital and net debt considerations, and potential liabilities and risks impacting valuation and negotiation

Key requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in valuation, accounting, or investment banking
• Strong undergraduate qualifications or higher in a relevant degree
• Experience in constructing and analyzing financial models (DCF and pricing models)
• Experience in transaction-related analysis and due diligence
• Understanding of financial statement analysis and ability to work through key assumptions and limitations
• Professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CFA, RICS) favoured
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills
• English fluency; German language skills advantageous
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic
