Physical Security Analyst

Overview

In this role you will own the London office’s physical security and act as the local point of contact for security incidents. You’ll work closely with the Insider Protection team in NYC to relay ground observations and support region-specific risk reviews. The role combines hands-on security operations with incident response and insider-risk support, offering growth into a broader security function. You’ll protect critical assets and contribute to a security posture that informs global risk decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site security point of contact for the London office and manage day-to-day physical security operations
• Oversee access control, visitor management, and badge issuance; flag anomalies as needed
• Conduct site risk assessments and walkthroughs with mitigation recommendations
• Lead first-response to physical security incidents and document findings for escalation to NYC
• Assist with IT-related access provisioning/deprovisioning for high-risk personnel
• Provide physical security data to insider threat investigations and support broader team analyses
• Identify behavioral indicators that may require insider threat review
• Coordinate with building management and security vendors to uphold standards
• Maintain incident logs and produce summaries for leadership escalation or records
• Support basic security hygiene (clean desk, device handling) in coordination with IT
• Liaise with local law enforcement or emergency services as required
• Stay informed on regional security trends and threats relevant to UK/EU operations

Key requirements

• 4+ years of experience in physical security or related field in fast-paced environments
• Hands-on experience with physical security systems (access control, CCTV, visitor management)
• Strong analytical and documentation skills; ability to produce clear incident reports
• Good judgment and professionalism handling sensitive personnel matters
• Ability to work independently with remote security teams across time zones
• Interest in insider threat concepts and willingness to develop capabilities with team support
