Project Controls / Change Manager

Overview

In this role you will implement a structured change control framework for a Ministry of Justice prison programme, enabling data-driven decisions and traceable impacts on scope, schedule and budget. You will work with the alliance team to ensure governance and timely change approvals, supporting leadership with analysis and integrated baselines. The position focuses on formal change management processes and effective board governance to drive project outcomes. It offers the chance to contribute to high-profile public sector construction projects and shape programme delivery.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the programme change control process
• Monitor changes per the change management processes and procedures
• Initiate and submit programme change notices and determine the approval route
• Set up and run the change and risk board with the chair and ensure formal minutes
• Issue programme instructions and coordinate responses and impact assessments
• Maintain up-to-date integrated cost and schedule performance baselines
• Track and report current schedule trends and key interdependencies

Key requirements

• Degree qualification or equivalent
• Member of a professional body
• Experience in a public sector programme/project within construction or consultancy
