Overview

In this role, you will own people and change projects within Deloitte’s HR projects team, navigating a matrix organisation to deliver measurable value. You’ll partner with HR leadership and cross-functional colleagues to scope, plan, and execute initiatives from concept to delivery. You’ll apply a mix of project, programme and change methods to drive people-centred outcomes in a dynamic environment. This role offers the chance to shape HR practices and influence across the firm with a data-informed, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

  • Draft project papers and scoping for new initiatives with measurable outcomes
  • Translate business needs into actionable plans aligned to HR strategy
  • Lead discovery sprints through complex projects with clear planning and bold direction
  • Adapt and apply recognised methodologies to deliver and embed projects
  • Influence day-to-day execution and demonstrate leadership across projects
  • Build and sustain cross-business-line stakeholder networks
  • Use data to inform decision-making and drive results
  • Raise and manage issues, risks and dependencies for on-time delivery
  • Act as a bridge between tech, privacy & compliance teams throughout projects
  • Promote best practices in project, programme and change delivery across HR

Key requirements

  • Proven track record in running cross-functional projects and programmes end-to-end
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving with data-based decision-making
  • Customer-focused with strong listening and stakeholder influence skills
  • Proactive, deadline-driven, hands-on attitude and ability to deliver under pressure
  • Strong presentation and storytelling with data to outcomes
  • Ability to scope complex projects and distill into simple actions (tech-focused when needed)
  • Adaptability in changing environments and experience leading people-centred projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management
  • Strong knowledge of change management principles and best practices
  • Experience applying Prince2, Agile, Human-Centred Design, Kanban, Lean, Scrum
  • Proficient in AI concepts and continuous learning of emerging AI capabilities
  • Desirable: experience in partnership/matrixed organisations; HR/human capital background
