Overview

In this role you will consolidate regional financial performance for Europe & North Africa, support month-end close and forecasts, and drive working capital improvements. You will partner with operational and project teams to improve financial visibility and decision-making, while strengthening cash collection and forecast accuracy. You’ll contribute to regional reporting and BI enhancements, enabling clearer business messaging and actions. This is a hands-on FP&A role that sits at the intersection of finance and operations, shaping regional performance within a global services business.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate monthly financial performance across Europe & North Africa and support month-end reporting packs with variance analysis
  • Coordinate submissions across multiple business units and countries to ensure aligned regional reporting
  • Assist with revenue, margin, and cost analyses during month-end and forecasts
  • Support quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and longer-term planning cycles in collaboration with operational finance
  • Improve working capital and cash performance by addressing aged AR, unbilled positions, and overdue debtors
  • Build relationships with operational leaders and project teams to provide ad hoc analysis and commercial insight
  • Translate financial data into clear business messages and drive actions with stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and BI/dashboard capabilities (Power BI) and align processes with regional structure

Key requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling capability
  • Experience supporting month-end close, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Comfortable with large data sets and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate key messages clearly
  • Experience with Power BI, EPM, FCCS, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics (beneficial)
  • Experience in project-based, engineering, consulting, or services businesses preferred
  • Proactive and commercially minded
