Join BNY as Vice President, OPS Administration and Planning to lead strategic initiatives within Wealth Services Operations. You will define scope, governance, and delivery for complex programs that span risk, regulatory items, and strategic change, aligning with operational platforms. Collaborate with senior management to review acceptance criteria for new client offerings and produce executive communications. You drive cross-functional programs that shape the future of wealth operations and contribute to BNY’s strategic pillars and technology-driven transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and govern strategic initiatives for Wealth Services Operations, defining scope and governance for complex projects across risk, regulatory items, and strategic change.
  • Manage highly complex programs, implementing policies and processes, operational enhancements, and cross-functional projects using advanced PM discipline and risk management.
  • Assess project status and impact (financial, risk, operational) for PI Planning cycles and oversee the WSO Book of Work for development.
  • Collaborate with senior management to review Business Acceptance Criteria for new client/offering initiatives.
  • Create high-quality executive communications, including status updates and briefings to support decision-making and strategic alignment.

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in financial services or wealth management operations
  • Strong project and program management expertise
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and strategic initiatives
  • Knowledge of risk, regulatory, and control frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for executive presentations
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Formal PM training or certification (PMP, PgMP, or Agile) is desirable
