Team Manager, Manchester Neighbourhood Team

Overview

In this role you will lead day-to-day operations of the developing South and Central Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams, providing clinical leadership and line management to staff. You will deputise for the Operational Manager when needed and help align the service with ongoing community mental health transformation. The post emphasizes reflective practice, problem solving, and driving service improvement within a trauma-informed, recovery-focused, compassionate service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational management of the developing service
• Provide clinical leadership and line management supervision to staff
• Deputise for the Operational Manager when required
• Support integration with community mental health service transformation
• Strengthen relationships with external community services and colleagues
• Participate in on-call/site rota as needed

Key requirements

• RMN, social worker or OT with relevant registration
• Minimum 4 years post-registration experience
• Ability to support and manage MDT colleagues
• Experience in providing line management and clinical supervision to staff
• Car driver with access to vehicle
