Overview

In this role you will lead Elekta’s IntelliMax connected device and IoT platform teams, driving reliability, security and performance of a business-critical system. You will shape platform evolution through modernization and scalable engineering practices while collaborating across Product, Architecture, QA, Infrastructure and Cyber Security. You’ll foster an inclusive, high-performing culture and champion Agile and DevOps to improve delivery and quality. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering organization (Software, Test, DevOps, Platform, Operations).
• Drive delivery of new platform capabilities while maintaining production stability and availability.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, QA, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security to meet business aims.
• Evolve the IntelliMax platform via modernization, operational excellence, and scalable practices.
• Promote Agile and DevOps practices to enhance delivery, quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure software quality, security, compliance, and operational resilience.
• Contribute to strategic technology and product roadmaps aligned with Elekta’s long-term vision.

Key requirements

• Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams in software, cloud, platform, or technology environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in Agile software development and building high-performing teams.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, cloud, microservices, and containerisation.
• Proven ability to improve engineering processes and operational maturity.
• Hands-on technical background in software development or platform engineering.
• Passion for coaching, mentoring, and building a team-first culture with focus on operational excellence.
