Overview

In this role you lead incident response, release coordination, and change management to safeguard client experiences. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational stability, scalability, and resilience within the Payments domain. You leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to enhance incident handling, communication, and reporting, while driving continuous process improvements. This position offers the chance to shape how incidents and changes are managed at scale, reducing client impact and boosting reliability. You join a team focused on operational excellence and one-team collaboration to deliver trustworthy payments services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead incident management activities to promptly assess, escalate, and resolve production issues with minimal client impact
  • Coordinate releases and changes to enable smooth deployments while minimizing risk
  • Utilize AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, and copilots to improve incident response, client impact analysis, and reporting efficiency
  • Promote a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement through adoption of new tools and tech
  • Communicate clearly and timely during incidents, releases, and changes to align stakeholders
  • Build and monitor key metrics for incident, release, and change management (response times, client impacts, risk, reliability)
  • Exercise strong risk judgment and escalate risk/control issues with creative mitigation strategies
  • Foster a security-first mindset through coaching and development of the team
  • Strengthen collaboration with a one-team approach and actively pursue opportunities for improvement

Key requirements

  • Years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product lifecycle activities (discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, value management)
  • Understanding of systems development methodologies and ability to coordinate with business partners, tech resources, SMEs, UI design, QA, UAT, and other groups
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and ability to apply technology to support operational processes and decision-making
  • Knowledge of electronic banking products and systems
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environments
