Manager, Revenue Planning and Analytics

Overview

In this role you will be the primary performance auditor of commercial outcomes, translating numbers into actionable insights. You will diagnose drivers behind revenue movements and guide decisions that improve growth and margins. You’ll craft clear narratives for senior stakeholders and help build robust planning frameworks focused on drivers over outcomes. Expect to prototype automated revenue reporting and influence forecasting, budgeting, and pricing discussions. This is a chance to shape revenue strategy in a data-driven sports tech leader.

Responsibilities

• Driver autopsy: analyze revenue variances to separate structural trends from one-time effects
• Planning guidance: steer forecasting and budgeting with robust, logically sound submissions
• Business modeling: develop models for pricing elasticity and market entry costs
• Build automated revenue reporting on data warehouse and billing data to inform commercial decisions
• Revenue forecast pressure-testing: validate forecast inputs against actionable drivers
• Logic refinement: challenge and rebuild flawed commercial assumptions into robust frameworks
• Causal synthesis: translate complex data into clear narratives for senior stakeholders

Key requirements

• 3-5 years in a multidisciplinary finance, analytics, or consulting role
• Proficiency in commercial finance or commercial analytics
• MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred
• SQL, Power BI or Tableau, and AI agents knowledge essential
• Python or n8n/workflow automation valued
• Accountability mindset and focus on robust planning over speed
