Overview

In this role you will lead the Commercial Property function within a forward-thinking Wiltshire law firm, overseeing both the team and a diverse caseload. You will drive strategic growth, mentor the property team, and strengthen client relationships to support firm-wide expansion. You’ll shape the department’s direction and play a key part in its path to Partnership. The opportunity combines autonomy, leadership, and a collaborative culture with a clear route to influence and impact.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring, and developing the commercial property team
• Managing a varied caseload including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and development work
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Driving business development to support firm growth
• Shaping the future direction of the department

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with significant Commercial Property experience
• Proven leadership skills or readiness to step into a leadership role
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record or potential in business development
• Client following or established referrer network is advantageous but not essential
• Ambitious and motivated with clear progression towards Partnership
