Overview

Experienced Commercial Property Lawyer sought to join a long-established regional law firm in Wiltshire. You will manage a varied caseload across acquisitions, leases, landlord-tenant matters, property finance, and corporate property elements, while delivering excellent client service. You’ll work with a supportive department and help raise the profile of the team through business development. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters
• Handle freehold/leasehold acquisitions and disposals
• Draft and negotiate leases and related documents
• Address landlord and tenant issues and property finance transactions
• Work on property aspects of corporate deals and due diligence
• Contribute to business development and profile raising for the department
• Deliver excellent client service and maintain strong relationships

Key requirements

• Around 3+ years PQE in commercial property
• Confident managing own files with minimal supervision
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Solid understanding of LTA 1954, title issues, planning/environmental considerations, SDLT and VAT implications
• Familiarity with case management systems and Land Registry processes
• Excellent communication and client handling skills
• Strong attention to detail and risk awareness
• Ability to manage deadlines, costs and expectations
