Group Head of Supply Chain

Overview

In this role you will lead the Group Supply Chain function to deliver operational excellence and a strong customer experience. You will align supply chain activities with the group’s strategy while driving efficiency, cost control and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll shape forecasting, procurement, inventory, and warehousing to support growth and robust governance. The position offers impact across demand planning, sourcing and team development within a market-leading, globally oriented company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Demand Planning, Procurement, Import, Inventory Management and Warehouse functions
• Lead development and execution of the Group supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives
• Manage stock, forecasting, procurement and inventory management
• Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and performance
• Manage sourcing and procurement projects through their lifecycle with budget alignment
• Lead, coach and develop the Supply Chain team and foster a collaborative culture
• Collaborate with the Board and Operational Leadership Team to translate vision into operational strategy and measurable outcomes
• Ensure compliance, governance and robust processes across the supply chain

Key requirements

• Proven leadership experience in a complex supply chain, procurement, operations or materials environment
• Strong understanding of demand planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing and supplier management
• Commercially focused with ability to manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Experience leading, developing and motivating high-performing teams
• Strong strategic and analytical skills to turn objectives into actionable plans
• Continuous improvement mindset with track record of improving processes and customer outcomes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across senior leadership and wider teams
