Line Operations Manager – Frypack

Overview

In this role you will oversee stability and improvement of operations by coaching Frontline Managers, establishing robust operating routines, and driving root-cause focused improvement plans. You’ll translate daily insights into sustainable gains across the Lincoln site’s end-to-end supply chain, building capability and consistency in a 24/7 operation. You will lead through others, developing teams and coordinating with planning, logistics, and site operations to support operational excellence. This is a value-driven, leadership-focused role at a large FMCG site with a strong emphasis on safety, GMP, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Role model safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards
• Make decisions to sustain and strengthen operational foundations
• Interface with planning, logistics, and site operations to ensure effective end-to-end operations
• Lead and develop teams, driving engagement and retention
• Build organizational capability to deliver strong results in a 24/7 operation
• Identify and address capability gaps, leveraging external expertise when needed
• Coach Line Engineering Lead on maintenance systems to improve reliability
• Coach Specialist/Process Engineer to enhance equipment, processes, and standards

Key requirements

• First-line leadership experience across operations, safety, and quality
• Experience in a mid- to senior-level line management role in FMCG or similar fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, influencing, analytical skills, and stakeholder management
• Proven experience in continuous improvement
