Clinical Research Psychiatrist

Overview

In this role, you provide medical, scientific, and strategic leadership for planning, executing, and reporting clinical trials. You serve as Medpace’s internal medical expert for study results interpretation and contribute to trial design and project plans. You will collaborate across departments to advance trials and may engage in new business discussions. This position offers hybrid WFH flexibility and opportunities to shape clinical programs within a globally active CRO.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical management and expertise for clinical trials
• Contribute medical input to study reports, regulatory documents, and manuscripts
• Manage safety issues in trials and collaborate with team on evaluation and assessment
• Participate in new business development through proposals and sponsor meetings
• Coordinate with other departments across all study phases and documents
• Ensure adherence to research protocols and guide others in policy compliance

Key requirements

• MD or equivalent (board certification and current licensure preferred)
• Prior clinical trial experience preferred
• Experience in pharmaceutical-related clinical research preferred
