Overview
Join the Polymer & Peptides Research Group at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology to contribute to an IBIC-funded study on an in-situ forming sub-cutaneous depot for long-term cancer drug delivery. You will work under Prof Alberto Saiani, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and Innovarus to shape a translational drug-delivery platform. This role offers hands-on research, cross-disciplinary interaction, and the opportunity to impact cancer therapy through advanced polymer systems. You will work in a collaborative academic environment with industry liaison and hybrid working options.

Responsibilities
- Support and help deliver the IBIC project aims
- Contribute to design and development of the in-situ forming sub-cutaneous depot
- Collaborate with the industrial partner Innovarus and communicate findings
- Work within a sociable multi-disciplinary team with PhD and PDRA
- Engage in data analysis, reporting, and dissemination of results
- Operate with relatively minimal supervision
- Contribute to scientific discussions and project planning
Key requirements
