Overview

In this Sales Manager role, you will lead the residential sales operation within a market‑leading estate agency. You drive branch performance, revenue growth, and outstanding customer service by guiding a team of sales negotiators and support staff. You will generate new business through valuations, instructions, and networking, while maintaining strong market knowledge and compliance. This role sits within a national brand (LRG) with a local, hands‑on approach, offering clear progression and professional development. Responsibilities

  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the branch sales department
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of sales negotiators & support staff
  • Drive new business generation through valuations, instructions and networking
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, sales targets and team activity
  • Conduct regular one‑to‑ones and performance reviews
  • Ensure outstanding customer service throughout the sales process
  • Carry out market appraisals and convert valuations into instructions
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local property market and competitors
  • Ensure processes comply with property legislation and company standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to maximise cross‑selling opportunities

Key requirements

  • Proven experience in residential property sales, ideally in a managerial or senior negotiator role
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation ability
